Passed away after a long battle with illness at the Health Sciences Complex on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. George Horvath was 81 years old. Predeceased by his wife Mary (nee O’Keefe) and by his granddaughter Jessica Horvath. Leaving to mourn his sons: Paul and Joe (April); his loving grandchildren: Justin, Jason, Tammy (Mike Foisy) and Stephen (Lindsay); great-granddaughters: Natalee and Ayla; brother Bob (Lorena) and sister Mary Nelson. At George’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Friday, May 11 from 11-5 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held at Mary Queen of the World Parish on Saturday, May 11 at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
