It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Gerald (Joe) Francis Power on Friday, May 10, 2018, at the age of 75. Predeceased by wife Maureen Richardson Power 1993, and wife Diane Wilson Power 2018. Parents Thomas and Margaret Power; sister Margaret Langer; brothers Tom Power and Edward Power; brothers-in-law John Gough, Jack Langer and Victor Olivaries. Leaving to mourn children Tina (Bob) Burry, Gerry Power, Joseph (Deann) Power and Krista Power (Kurt Gilbert); grandchildren Emily, Sam, Gracie, Anna, Jonathan, Chloe, Cayden, Kayla and Colton; sisters Ellen Gough, Molly Olivaries and Jane (Floyd) Rogers; brothers Jack (Barb) Power and Mike (Joy) Power; sisters-in-law Barb Power and Betty Power; mother-in-law Mae Wilson; special friends Wayne and Lynette Chamberlain along with a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday and Tuesday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Cremation to follow.
