The family of the late Wendy Nicholson would like to express our gratitude to the many people who showed their sadness, concern and support as we faced this very difficult time. We were overwhelmed with the expressions of sympathy, the charitable donations to help children, which was so important to Wendy, the gifts of food and assistance with arrangements, and especially the personal time that you generously gave to provide comfort to all of us. We would especially like to thank Troy and Angie Robertson and daughter Shania who, without hesitation, offered their entire home so that the immediate family could stay close together as we brought Wendy home to rest in Cape Breton. Thank you also to Sharon MacDonald and Debbie Stymiest for their thoughtful and moving eulogies, to Stewart MacNeil for helping us to say goodbye through his wonderful music on a rainy Sunday morning, and to the professional staff of J.M. Jobes, especially Erika Jobes, who provided a dignified setting for so many friends and family to attend together.
