Linda Jane (Steeves) MacDonald -68, of Braeshore, Pictou County, passed away suddenly on May 16th, 2018. Born in Moncton, she was a daughter of the late Wellington and ‘Viola’ Marie Steeves. Linda was known around the community as the owner of Rags to Rugs Craft Shoppe and an active member of the Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia. She was a mentor to many and will be greatly missed. Linda is survived by her husband, Eldon MacDonald; sister, Barbara; daughters, Laura (Paul Moore) and Michelle (Simon Bonneville); and her beloved grandchildren, Mathieu and Sarah Bonneville. Visitation will be held at McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou on Monday, May 21st from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 22nd at 2:00 pm from Pictou United Church, with reception to follow. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
