Catherine ‘Kay’ Boutilier passed peacefully at The Bridge Hospice, Warkworth, May 19, 2018 in her 94th year. Born in Glace Bay, NS.
Wife of the late Fred Boutilier. Dear mother of Lewis and Sharon, and the late Anne and Jim Cromie. Loving grandmother of Kari Dart (Craig), Tyler [predeceased] (Lori), Fred Cromie (Andrea), Scott Cromie (Melanie) and Annette Gregg (Rob); great-grandmother of Karn, Isaac, Ryan, Adam, Cordelia, Heidi, Shea (Josie) and Chantel (Shohn), and great-great-grandmother of Thorton. Dear sister-in-law of Ruby Ferguson of Sydney, NS. Sister of the late Alexander, James, Neil and Mima.
Family and friends may gather at Brett Funeral Chapel, Havelock from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 11 a.m., Reverend David Estabrooks officiating. Cremation to follow. Final Resting Place at Pine Grove Cemetery at a later date.
