Passed peacefully away on May 21, 2018 at the Health Sciences Centre after a long and courageous battle with Leukemia, David Power, aged 66 years. Predeceased by his father Albert and sister Sharyn. Left to celebrate his life his wife Judy; daughter Kimberly Suzanne (Wayne); son Sean (Danielle); mother Joan; brother Kevin (Rhonda); sisters Doreen and Carol (Mark); sister-in-law Linda (Chris) and brother-in-law Russel (Sue); also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A special thank you to the doctors and staff of the HSC, 4 North A and the Ambulatory Treatment Program for their care and compassion shown to David during his courageous battle. The family will accept visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday, May 23 and Thursday, May 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from St. Pius X Catholic Church on Friday, May 25 at 1:15 p.m. with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
