The death occurred at the Garden Home on Sunday, May 27, 2018 of Jennie V. Bernard, formerly of Hunter River, age 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Emmett Bernard. Loving mother of the late Albert (Joan) and Delight (the late Norman) Plant. Grandmother of Shane (Wendy), Trevor (Rose Anne), Melissa (Peter) and Meaghan (Matthew) and great-grandmother of Allyson, Lillian, Dylan, Joshua, Jenna, Alex, Noralea, Adeline, Avery and Dexter. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Thelma Axworthy and Allan Smith. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Family flowers only, however if so desired, memorials may be made to the Central Queens United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
