Little, Marion Ruth (Brenton) – 89, of Truro. Born Nov. 18, 1928, Marion passed away peacefully June 2, 2018 at Colchester Regional Hospital. The daughter of Jack and Marion (Kennedy) Brenton of Brentwood, Marion was predeceased by her loving husband 58 years, Elwyn Ross Little, and her beloved grandson, Jonathan Brenton McIntyre. Marion was a natural and loving caregiver who was devoted to all her children. Hers was the home where the neighbourhood kids gathered, expecting to be fed homemade cookies and treats. They were never disappointed. She and her husband travelled extensively via the railway throughout Canada and the US, making good friends wherever they went. She loved reading, was an expert bridge player, and never missed Dancing With The Stars, a figure skating event or, as a great admirer of the Queen, a royal wedding. If there’s Jeopardy in heaven, Marion comes prepared to take people down. She leaves behind her loving children, Kim, Linda and Ross; grandchildren Matthew, Amy and Phoebe; great-grandchildren, Robbie, Brooklyn, Lennon, Samantha, Isaac and Carter. Funeral service to be held Thursday, June 7, 1-3 p.m., at Colchester Community Funeral Home; interment to follow at Bible Hill Cemetery.
