The death occurred at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 of Barbara R. Jenkins (nee Beck) of Charlottetown, age 84 years. Born in Montague, she is the beloved wife of Paul, mother to Ann MacNeill, Rebecca “Becky” Alexander (Scott), Peggy-Jo Myers (Tim), Danny (Kim) and Tim (Karla). Loved grandmother of Brett, Kathe, Ben and Bryce Nissen, Zack and Maddy Alexander, Timothy and Spencer Myers, Marcie (Johnny Bruce), Charlotte, William and Henry Jenkins, Samantha and Jamie Jenkins. Survived by brother-in-law Wilfred Giffin, former son-in-law Jorgen Nissen and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Ralph (Flea) and Mac (Shirley) and sisters Bebe, Peggy MacIntyre (Jack) and Betty Ann Giffin. Barb was the cherished youngest child of loving and spirited parents RW (Robert) Beck and Margaret Murdena (Martin) of Montague. Barbara will be remembered for her kind and nurturing way, the love and devotion to her husband and family, and her service to her community (Red Cross, FISH, Lillibets, CNIB, Y's Menettes). Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Friday at 11 a.m. from First Baptist Church. Interment in the Peoples Cemetery.
