Passed peacefully away surrounded by love at St. Clare’s Hospital on Saturday, June 9, 2018, age 84 years of Kelligrews. Predeceased by her husband Andrew Grandy. Leaving to mourn are her seven children: Georgina Bussey (Bill), Debbie Rideout (Rick), Richard (Cathy), Andrew (Kim), Robert (Gloria), Calvin, Thomas (Suzette), grandchildren: Philip, Lisa, Kayla, Alicia, Nicole, Sean, Adriane, Vanessa, Christopher, Kaitlyn and Karlee, great-grandchildren: Kaiden, Ellie, James and Alyissa, brothers: Junior Beckett (Dora), Max Beckett (Phyllis), brother-in-law: George Grandy (Vivian), nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Special thanks to all staff and doctors who went above and beyond on the 5th floor East at St. Clare’s Hospital. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday & Tuesday from 2 pm – 4 pm & 7 pm – 9 pm. Funeral service to take place from Topsail United Church, Topsail on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 11 am. Interment in the United Cemetery, Upper Gullies. Donations in Helen’s memory may be made to the Arthritis Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
