Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, June 24, 2018, William J. Roche of Brigus, aged 84 years. Predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Joan (nee Mugford), May 25, 2018, parents Philip and Eileen (nee Tucker) Roche, brothers Brian (Sue), Frank (Lillian) and Phillip Roche, sisters Kay (Mike) Arsenault, Alice (Richard) Walsh and Gertie (Bill) Kelly, brother-in-law Don Murphy. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, sons William Jr. and Tom, daughters Madonna (Harold) Smith, Isabel (Wayne) Marshall Brenda (Clyde) Andrews and Michelle Roche, six grandchildren Natasha, Silas, Myles, Justin and Rick, three great-grandchildren Britney, Shianne and Wyatt, brothers John (Daphne), David (Joan), Paddy and Dionne, sisters Eileen Mugford, Mary (Raymond) Dwyer, Patsy (Jerome) McHugh, also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Broughton's Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 3-9 P.M., Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 10 A.M. - 9 P.M. Funeral to take place from Our Lady of The Snows Church, Marysvale on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. with interment to follow in the R.C. Cemetery, Brigus.
