Passed peacefully away on June 18, 2018 at the graceful age of 84, at Pleasantview Towers in the loving presence of his family. Gordon (Dad) will be remembered by his long marriage to Marie (Rees) of 52 years. Predeceased by his dearly beloved son Mike (Nov. 23, 2015). Leaving to mourn sons Gordie and Raymond, daughters Sherry, Sheila,and Tanya, their spouses and many grandchildren, his brothers and sisters and many friends. Thank you to the staff at Pleasantview Towers for the kindness shown over the months, his final days with dementia were comfortable. He enjoyed the music days the best and visits from family were heaven sent. A short gathering at Pendergast's Funeral Home on Bell Island will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday June 30, 2018 followed by Mass at the Catholic Church at 12 p.m.
