Sgt. Peter Searle
March 21, 1939-June 25, 2018



It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Searle, age 79 of New Glasgow on June 25, 2018 at home.
He is survived by his wife and best friend, Sandra Lee Searle his son Brent (Lori) Searle and daughter Tami (Brent) MacEachern; his grandchildren: Ryan Searle, Jeanalee Searle and Jaden MacEachern, brothers: Robert Searle, Bill Searle and sister Ann Preston.
He was pre-deceased by his grandson Dylan MacEachern, his parents and brother Leigh Searle. He was a retired member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Peter had a great love for hunting and fishing, gardening and spending time with his family. Papa cherished his grandchildren and was very much a part of their everyday life. He enjoyed visiting his buddies when he was still able to do so, and he had a deep affection for his babies Jake and Sammie.
Cremation has taken place.
It was his wish that we gather together in a casual setting to remember him and support each other. There will be a “Celebration of Life” to be held on Friday June 29, 2018 from 2-4pm at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
Instead of flowers, a donation in memory of Peter can be made to The Children’s Wish- New Glasgow’s Annual Wish Walk or The Pictou County S.P.C.A.
