William "Liamus" Sheamus Roach
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear brother, William “Liamus” Sheamus Roach, age 64, in California on March 6, 2018. His death was the result of a tragic accident involving a motorist hitting him as he was riding his bicycle.
Liamus was born in Sydney, the son of the late Emile and Carmel (Gallagher) Roach. He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Emile (Elaine) Roach, Marie (Alex) MacLeod, Colleen (Wally) Martin, Charles Roach-Sutherland and Darlina Grant. He leaves behind a niece and four nephews. He was predeceased by our parents and nephew, James Martin.
He graduated from Sydney Academy and later, while at the University of Kings College, Halifax, he bonded with people who had similar interests for travel and adventures. His lifestyle included not just travelling but also, working in many different career fields, including creating set designs in the entertainment business in Florida and California.
Cremation took place in California. There will be a private family committal service held at a later date at Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney.
