Peacefully with her family by her side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on August 6th, 2018, the death of Joan Gertrude MacMillan age 77. Daughter of the late Hector and Janetta (Jardine) MacLeod. Joan is survived by her loving husband Alan MacMillan and her children Terry (Stewart) Mutch and Jerry (Lisa) Stewart, step children, Glen MacMillan, Tory (Larry) Kennedy and Bonny (Dana) Stewart, sister Florence Hambly, special niece Jennifer (Jim) Hambly-McKeon, grandchildren, Alyssa, Alex, Jenny, Jessica, Robert, Tawnya, Tiffany, Lucas, Samantha, Colton, Christopher, Amber and 4 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband Alexander (Sandy) Stewart. A Celebration of Life will take place at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday, August 9th, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service to take place at 10 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, Aug. 10th, with interment to follow in Wood Islands Cemetery.
