Jennifer Lynn Joy

Date de naissance : 29 septembre 1981

Date de décès : 8 août 2018

It is with great sadness, yet boundless love and beautiful memories, that the family of the late Jennifer Lynn Joy of Labrador City (formerly Corner Brook) bade a final farewell to their loved one on August 8, 2018 at the Palliatve Care Unit of the Dr. L.A. Miller Center in St. John's, NL. Leaving to mourn are her husband Martin (Marty) Byrne of Labrador City; step-children Coady, Jaiesen (Jacey) and Ethan of Labrador City, father Francis Joy (Kathy King) of Stephenville; mother Brenda Janes (Jed Turpin) of George's Lake; brother Adam (Erin) of Florida; parents-in-law Patrick and Mary Byrne of Buchans; brother-in-law Sam (Sarah) of British Columbia; sister-in-law Sara (Denny) Cornect of Ontario; a large circle of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, extended relatives and very dear friends. Throughout Jennifer's journey her strength, courage and perseverance has taught us all the meaning of humility and how to rejoice in the small victories life offers. The love and support of family, friends, community and even strangers have given us so many blessings at difficult times. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to all off the staff and doctors at the PCU and the Health Sciences Centre for the care, support and efforts they have provided for our loved one. As per Jennifer's wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration memorial will take place in Labrador City at a later date. Although Jennifer dearly loved her plants and flowers, she wished that donations in her memory be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 70 Ropewalk Lane, P.O. Box 8921, St. John's, NL A1B 3R9 to continue helping others.

"Those whom we love and lose are no longer where they were before.
They are now wherever we are."
