We, the family of the late George William LeBlanc would like to express our overwhelming gratitude for the kindness, support and compassion shown to us during our recent loss. No words can express our thanks to the paramedics, Dr. Margaret Fraser, Dr. Mike MacDonald and the emergency room staff of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for your efforts, kindness and compassion. To Manning Jones and staff, thank you for your kindness, support and guidance during this difficult time.
To Holy Family Parish, Fr. JJ MacDonald, the altar and Eucharistic servers and Sharon Ianetti and her choir, thank you for the beautiful service. A special thank you to Nipper MacLeod for your beautiful solo “Just a Closer Walk with Thee” and for sending Dad off with “Working Man”, one of his favourites. For the beautiful readings, Jillian LeBlanc and Shaunna Gillis, thank you. To the pallbearers, grandsons Adam, Stephen, Jean Marc, Marshall, Joey and Mark. Poppie would have been so proud. To honorary pallbearers Danny and Gary, Dad’s younger brothers, thank you for being a part of this day. Special thanks to the Royal Canadian Legion Br.83 and the Naval Vets for your very special prayers and services and to the KOC for your prayers. Thank you also to the CWL for preparing a beautiful luncheon after the service.
For each and everyone who sent memorial donations, Mass cards, monetary donations and food, for all your phone calls and to those that visited and traveled to be with us. Thank you. Your kindness will never be forgotten. A very special thank you to the staff of the Northside Community Guest Home not only for always treating Dad like family and making him feel at home every day he visited Mom, but also for being there for each and every one of us during our heartbreak. Your kindness, support will always be remembered.
