Marguerite Driscoll, age 96, of Glace Bay passed away on August 14, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, with loving family at her side.
Born in Glace Bay, Marguerite was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine MacDonald. She was a member of Warden United Church.
Marguerite is survived by foster sons, Robert White and his wife Diane and Clinton Walker. She is also survived by seven grandchildren including, Joey Driscoll and wife Sussanne and Shannon Driscoll and wife Kim; niece Yvonne Penney and four great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Henry Driscoll; sons, Joey and David and his wife Catherine; five brothers and four sisters.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 16 from 4-6 p.m. at Marguerite’s home, 51 Reservoir Ave., Glace Bay. Burial will take place at a later date.
Donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Society or the Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
