It is with great sadness that the family of the late Monty Buckle announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Monday, August 27, 2018 at the age of 71 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughter Trudy Buckle; sister Lorraine Callahan; furry companions Cody, Dusty and Taylor; The Hinks family and a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Margaret (nee Lee) and Leonard Buckle, three brothers Leonard, Gerry and Bernard. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 8-9 pm and Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at 10 am on Thursday, August, 30, 2018 from the Most Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Cathedral on Mount Bernard Avenue with Father White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
