HARDER - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Victoria Sheila Harder on August 24, 2009, at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Herbert, SK, after a brief struggle with cancer at the age of 63. She was born September 27, 1945, in Swift Current, SK. She was the second of four children born to Virgel and Eva Harden on July 28, 1962. She was raised in Swift Current and later married Wayne Harder on July 28, 1962, which lasted 47 years. She had two children, Clinton and Michelle, who presently live in Wakaw, SK. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, John Harder, February 8, 1963; her sister, Phyllis Moore, on September 15, 1984; her mother-in-law, Rose Harder on April 28, 1986; and her father, Virgel Harden on February 8, 2004. She left to mourn her husband, Wayne Harder of Herbert, SK; mother. Eva Harden of Herbert, SK; sister, Louise Drummond and family of Swift Current, SK; brother, John Harden (Sherrie) and family of Southey, SK; in-laws, Darrel and Darlene Harder of Mundare, AB, Ernie and Val Dyck of Martensville, SK, Les and Marcia Driedger of Herbert, SK, Garnet and Michelle Harder of Regina, SK; and her son, Clinton and daughter, Michelle of Wakaw, SK. Also, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren; various nephews, nieces, cousinsand friends, including her dogs Meisha, Bandit and Prince. Her various talents included drawing, painting, woodcraft, ceramics and gardening. She also enjoyed card games, bingo and shopping. A celebration of her life was held on August 28, 2009, at the New Horizon Hall at 1:00PM in Herbert, SK. Internment will be a private ceremony held at a later date.
