Passed peacefully away at Glenbrook Lodge on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, Jean McCormack age 76 years. Predeceased by her husband Edward and her mother Sarah Maidment. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Rick, Bob (Donna), Steve (Sherrie) and Rosemary (Adrian Power); grandchildren: James (Samantha), Neil & Steven Power, Colin & Zachary McCormack, Brittany & Matthew McCormack; great-grandchildren: Bella and Lily McCormack; brother: Arthur Maidment (Patricia); special aunt Joyce Hill; special friend Mary Lacey; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Special thanks is extended to the nurses and staff at Saint Luke’s, North Pond Manor and Glenbrook Lodge for their care and support and to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre for their attentive care, especially Dr. Powell and team. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay with visitation on Saturday and Sunday 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, September 3, 2018 at 10 a.m. from Holy Trinity Church, Torbay. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Tors Cove. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Jean’s memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
