Elsie passed away peacefully at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Monday, May 23, 2011. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Kevin "Geoff" Chaulk; sister-in-law Sybil Blackmore, Mount Pearl, her pet dog Shilo, whom she loved dearly; her very special neighbours and friends: Annie Nichols, Norm White, Wood Chaulk, Dave Watkins, Peggy Chaulk, Dottie Kennedy, Ruth Blundon, Dallas Leroux and Daphne Pittman, they were always there for her. She also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband Walter in 1993, sisters Winnie Saint, Sybil Sullivan, Kay Parsons and brother Lyle Blackmore. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 30 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church, Farm Road with Canon John Meade officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Farm Road. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church Memorial Fund, the Masonic Lodge or to a charity of one’s choice.
