The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Friday, September 21st, 2018 of Karl Reeves of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 76 years. Karl was born in Emo, Ontario to his late parents Joseph and Hazel (nee Grundt) Reeves. Beloved husband of Dianne (nee Wheaton) Reeves and loving father of Tracy Albert (Kevin) of Summerside, Tammy Cameron (Darwin) of Lloyd Minister, AB., Tanya Reeves of Summerside, and Terri Hanlan (David Hogg) also of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his brothers Melvin Reeves (Connie) of Kensington, Ray Reeves of Freetown, and Harvey Reeves (Jo-Ann) of Summerside. Besides his parents, Karl was predeceased by his brothers James, Kenneth, Charles Reeves and his sisters Hope Walsh (Cliff), Doris Gillis (Percy), Audrey Renton, and Bernice Walsh (Art). Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Memorial donations in Karl’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated. Interment to take place at a later date.
