Josephine Mae MacDonald, of Sydney, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Jessie (MacDonald) Pyke.
In good times, Josephine enjoyed going for walks and the company of her family and friends. Regularly, she attended and supported the church and had a love for music.
Josephine is survived by her son, Robbie (Carey), Louisbourg; sisters, Dora, Hanna, Margie and Catherine; brothers, Bill, Arthur and Jackie.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roderick; sister, Hennie Anne and brother, Angus.
Visitation will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 3 from 1-2 p.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 2 p.m., with Rev. Stephen Mills officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, North River at 4 p.m.
Memorials may be made to charity of choice.
