Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Sunday, September 30, 2018, the death occurred of Marlene Dunn, of Mermaid, P.E., age 71 years. Beloved wife of Brendan Dunn. Loving mother of Michelle Byrne (Earl) and Norman Dunn (Kelly). Cherished grandmother of Patrick, Kelly, Brenna and Kevin Byrne, Jenna Felix, Jackson and Avery Dunn and Great-Grandson Alex Lamont. Marlene will be missed by her sisters - Carol Dunn (Joe) and Betty Kenny (Ron); brothers - Alfred Arsenault (Helen) and Bob Arsenault and sister-in-law Phyllis Dunphy. She was predeceased by her parents - Fred and Julia Anne Arsenault. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at St. Patrick's Church, Fort Augustus, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery, Green Meadows.
