Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on September 28, 2018, Agnes Louise Summers, aged 100. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Charles Summers, son Boyd Summers, parents Henry and Martha Lakin, sister Olive (Tucker), step-brothers Leslie and Albert Field. Leaving to mourn with precious memories, her son Henry (Marilyn), daughter-in-law Elaine (Boyd), sisters Joy (Walters) and Thelma (Dagg), brother Fred Lakin (Dora), her grandchildren, whom she adored, Michael (Dawn), Robin (Sandra), Chris (Kim), Stacy Hagerty (Greg), and Nancy Bartlett (Reed); and her great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Julia, Matthew, Ally, Brandon, Catherine, Alex, Belle, James and Drew. Also, left with loving memories her nieces, nephews and special friend Joan Monk. A sincere thank you to Laura and Grant Morgan and the entire Staff of Admiral’s Coast Retirement Home in Kelligrews, of whom she thought so much, for providing her with loving care, kindness, and much music over the last four years. She will be forever remembered for her selflessness, love of helping others and her smile. At her request, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may visit the family at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Sunday, October 14 from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11:00 am from the Carnell Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
