Sterling Herold Fisher

The death of Sterling Harold Fisher of Peakes Rd. occurred suddenly and peacefully surrounded by immediate family on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Saint John Regional Hospital, NB. in his 75th year. He was the son of the late Everett and Marion Fisher. Survived by his devoted wife of 44 years Peggy (Margaret) Fisher, daughter Denise (James) Legere, and his three grandchildren who were the lights of his life, Wyatt, Madyson and Mackenzie; step grandchildren Dakota and Keagen Legere. He was also survived by brother Raymond (Theresa), sisters in law Frances Galczynski, Naomi Bouché (Mass.), and Viola Fisher; brother in law Bob Bouché (Kathy), Mass. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, great niece and great nephew and great great nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Sterling was predeceased by brothers Melvin and Fred; sister in law Kay Fisher; brother in law Eddie Bouché and a nephew Wayne Fisher. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Sunday, October 7, at 2 p.m., from the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Cardigan. Interment to take place in the Mt. Stewart People’s Cemetery. Donations to the PEI Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. www.fergusonlogan.com
