Dennis 'Wessie' Weston

We, the McCormick family, sadly announce the peaceful passing of our dear uncle, Dennis Weston (Wessie), age 92, of Boisdale, Cape Breton, on Monday, October 15, 2018.
Born in Birmingham, England, on April 22, 1926, he emigrated to Canada in 1963, and settled in Sydney.
Uncle Dennis was a World War II veteran, having served with the British Royal Marines. He often spoke fondly of his years spent with CNR and Marine Atlantic as a respected machinist.
He leaves behind an extended family of nieces and nephews and very close relatives, The White family, in England.
We would like to thank his neighbours in Boisdale for their friendship and support of Dennis over the years. A special “Thank You” to the staff of Harbour View Hospital for their loving care of Uncle Dennis over the past two years.
At his request, there will be no visitation. A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
