Passed peacefully away at his residence on Bell Island in the presence of his loving family on October 13, 2018, age 83 years. Predeceased by his wife Minnie; parents Peter and Mary Butler; brother Eddy (Emma); sisters Frances, Mame, sister-in-law Gert; stepson Jack (Helen). Leaving to mourn his brothers Peter (Kathleen), Andrew (Dorothy), sisters, Agnes (Gerald Gulliver); Sarah (Don Parsons - deceased); Judy (Clar Evans); step-daughters, Linda (Walter Woodridge - deceased); Violet (Les); Effie (John), also a large circle of family and friends. A special Thank You to the Dr.’s and Staff of the Bell Island Hospital. Cremation has taken place at Barney’s request. Inurnment to follow in Labrador City, NL at a later date.
