Guy Boswall Stewart, of Charlottetown, formally of Dunstaffnage, age 89 years, peacefully passed away on October 26, 2018 at the Prince Edward Island Palliative Care Centre in Charlottetown. He was the beloved husband of Esther Dawson (Johnston) Stewart for 61 years. Dear father of Donald (Pape Sine), and Scott (Jayne Toombs). Proud grandfather to Megan, Glynis, Sam, William, and Andrew Stewart. Brother of Wilfred (Willena). Brother-in-law of Beth (Winston deceased) Stewart, Allan Johnston (Val Maclean), Barbara MacNutt (James), and Anna Johnston (Jack deceased). Daughter-in-law Kim Devine. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John Boswall Stewart and Ivy Alberta (Vessey) Stewart, his sisters Lorna (Malcolm Darrach), Helen (Preston Cudmore) and by his brothers Garth, Allison (Zita), mother-in-law Jessie Johnston, sister-in-law Barbara Johnston. There will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held at Spring Park United Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 3rd. A private interment will be held at the Crapaud Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Spring Park United Church or Hospice PEI.
