The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Sunday, October 28th, 2018 of Georgena Louise (nee MacPhee) Legere of Summerside and formerly of Amherst, N.S., aged 59 years. Georgena was born in Springhill N.S. to her mother Noreen (nee DeMont) of Springhill and her late father Edwin MacPhee. Beloved wife of Larry Legere and loving mother of James (Denise) of Peakes and Larry Jr. (Lindsey) of Charlottetown. Lovingly remembered by her 9 grandchildren Dakota, Denver, Keagan, Aidan, Carlee, Wyatt, Madyson, Mackenzie and Lincoln and also many nieces and nephews. Survived by her brothers and sisters Edwin (Andrea) MacPhee, Noreen Laurette, Mildred MacPhee and Kent Kidd. Predeceased by her brother Steven Kidd. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. By personal request there will be no funeral service held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Georgena’s memory to the PEI Humane Society or Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
