It is with great sorrow that we, the family and friends of Catherine (Kitty) (Rendell) MacDonald, announce her passing on Monday, October 29, 2018, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, at the age of 71.
Kitty was the daughter of the late Mark and Catherine (Katie) Rendell.
She is survived by her five loving children; Cathy (Joe), Walter (Sherry), Robert (Tara), Raylene and Tammy (Craig). Also left to mourn are her siblings Jacob(Mary), Mark, Tony(Lorraine), Daryl(Debbie), Gerry and Betty. Kitty will be missed immensely by her eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews and her best friend Mary Ferguson.
Besides her parents, Kitty was predeceased by siblings Marlene, Jarvis and brother-in-law, Roddie Bennett.
Cremation has taken place. Kitty’s family will receive visitors on Friday, November 2, 2018, from 2-4 p.m. in J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, Main St., Sydney Mines. A celebration of her life will follow at the Florence Legion, Friday, from 5-9 p.m. All are welcome.
