Helen Brna
It is with sadness that we announce that Helen passed away on November 6, 2018 at the age of 80 in Dartmouth, NS. Helen was born in Glace Bay on March 27, 1938 to parents Frank and Pauline Brna of Reserve Mines, CB.
She lived most of her life in Reserve Mines, and later when her father passed away, she resided in Carefield Manor in Sydney for many years. Helen was a kind person to all people and animals, especially cats. She enjoyed movies, crafts and a good bingo game.
Helen was predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by her brothers, Frank, Dartmouth and Joseph, Toronto, and Frank’s wife, Dianna, a dear friend to Helen; two nephews, Frank and Stephen, and niece, Paula.
Arrangements under the care of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists in Glace Bay. Service at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Reserve Mines at 2 p.m. Friday, November 9.
