We, the family of the late Lorraine Marina Lamey, extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who gave us comfort and support in our time of grief. Many thanks to those who attended the funeral service and reception. To those who brought food, visited, called, sent sympathy/Mass cards, flowers, emails, texts and donations to charities in Lorraine’s name, thank you. A very special thank you to her family of caregivers from the Maple Hill Manor in New Waterford for taking such good care of Lorraine for the past ten years. Thank you to Dr. Stephen Farrell for being her family doctor for many years. We are truly grateful to Father Ray Huntley and the St. Leonard Parish Choir for a beautiful service. For their compassion, understanding and professionalism, we appreciate the guidance of the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home staff and lovely lunch serviced at the reception by the St. Leonard CWL. Special note of thanks to readers, Christina Lamey, Paul Ratchford and Paul Lamey and to pallbearers, David Campbell, Paul Lamey, Sheldon Lamey, Paul Ratchford, Patrick Lamey and Frank Zemlyak. Thank you to Lorraine’s great-granddaughters, Madelyn Williams, Claire and Taylor Lamey for their part in her service, “Gamsie" would have been proud. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.
