Passed peacefully away on November 22, 2018 after a short illness, Peggy Joan Spurrell (nee White), at the age of 79. Predeceased by her parents Larry and Elsie White and son Kent. Leaving to mourn with treasured memories husband Roland, daughter Laurie Downey, son Jeff (Claudette), grandchildren Adam Downey (Christa), Jessica Parsons (Matthew), Jodie Lloyd (Mike), Evan Spurrell, Holly Spurrell (mother Bonnie), loving sister Fran Chaytor (Roy) and her amazing family, great grandchildren Rachael and Rebecca Downey and Jack Parsons, as well as a large circle of friends especially Barb Barclay.

Peg was a retired Principal/Teacher who was well known in sports circles, especially bowling and curling, during her many years in Baie Verte.

Cremation has taken place. A family gathering to celebrate Peg's life will be held at a later time yet to be determined.
