We, the family of the late Annie May MacKenzie, wish to extend our heartfelt thanks and sincere gratitude for the overwhelming love and support we received from family, friends and neighbours and co-workers during our time of great loss.
To those who brought food, visited, called, and sent sympathy and memorial cards, thank you. Sincere thanks to those who attended Ma’s visitation and funeral, seeing the church filled with so many who loved Ma offered so much comfort to our family.
To Rev T. Whent, thank you for delivering such a beautiful farewell and making the service a true celebration of a wonderful life well lived.
Special thanks to son Jimmy and granddaughter Holly Oldford for reading Nan’s favorite Bible passages. To granddaughters, Stefanie Reid and Nicole Boutilier, Nan would have been so proud of your beautiful eulogies, you both shared an emotional message that truly was reflective of the wonderful strong woman Nan was, we will never forget the comfort you provided to our family. To Newsom and St. Luke’s Choir’s thank you for singing so beautifully Ma’s favorite hymns, we could hear her singing along with you. To Newsom Church, thank you for the lovely luncheon provided to us following the service.
Thank you to those who travelled a great distance to be with us, your presence provided us great comfort. To V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, Kenny your final gift of comfort to our family will never be forgotten, our sincere thanks.
