It is with heavy hearts we announce the death of Madeline Mary McIntyre on November 28, 2018 at home.
Born, Nov. 3, 1948 in Birch Grove she was a daughter of Madeline (Whiffen) and the late Joe Rosta. Madeline liked to deliver newspapers for the Cape Breton Post. It was her best job.
Besides her mother she is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Wayne; daughter, Jolene; sister, Judy (Lenny) Boutilier; brothers, Joey (late Coleen)Rosta, Henry (Lynn) Rosta; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her father, Madeline was predeceased by a sister, Teresa and special uncle, Henry Rosta.
Special thanks to Dr. MacLean and staff of the Glace Bay General and the Cape Breton Regional Hospital as well at both emergency departments and to Tom MacNeil, Cancer Centre Social Worker; Michelle Kelly, VON and the staff of Emergency Health Services.
Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit or the Cancer Centre of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
