The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, December 6, 2018, of Laura Wigmore, of Summerside, aged 88 years. Born in North St. Eleanors, she was the daughter of the late Albert “Bert” and Marie (Compton) Brown. Survived by her brother Allen (Louise) Brown; sisters-in-law Laverne Brown and Shirley Chappell; and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Austin Wigmore; a sister Ellen (Alvin) Bryanton; brothers Ernest (Bernice) Brown and Darby Brown; and by her special niece Shirley (nee Brown) Shaw. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment later in Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Springbrook.
