It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, Kevin Wadden, age 64, on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Edward and Amy (Boutilier) Wadden.
For most of Kevin’s life he was a lobster and cod fisherman. In his younger years he loved to hunt and snare rabbits, ice fish and go ski-dooing.
Kevin will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 39 years, Donna (Wilson) Wadden; daughters, Natasha and Amy (Joe) Gilmet; four grandchildren, Emily Wadden, Jacob, Isaac and Ava MacDonald; one great-granddaughter, Jordyn King, and two brothers, Donald and Melvin Wadden, Glace Bay.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held in the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay.
The family wish to thank the hospital staff at the Cancer Centre and Palliative Care, CBRH, Sydney.
