Annie Morrison, of Sydney River passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2018, at the MacGillivary Guest Home, Sydney.
Born in Antigonish January 14,1924, Annie was the daughter of the late David and Barbara (Gillis) MacPherson.
Annie taught at Ashby School for 38 years and loved every minute of her teaching career. She retired in 1983.
Annie is survived by her nephew, Clifford (Darlene) and their children, Megan, Kristen and Breagh; sister-in-law, Theresa MacPherson and her daughter, Barb; Robert’s nephew, Marc (Nancy) Stone and niece, Michelle Casey. Along with several other nieces and nephews and a very dedicated and close friend, Marie Farr.
Annie was predeceased by her husband, Robert; sisters, Christine and May; brothers, Clarence, Barton and Alexander.
Funeral service will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 1 p.m., with Rev. Thomas Whent officiating. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, St. Peters.
