It is with great sadness that we announce that Sheila Burns,77, of Springhill NS, passed away quietly at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst N.S. on November16th,2018. Born in Springhill, Sheila was the daughter of Roop and Marie MacLeod. Sheila and her husband, Peter spent many years with the Royal Canadian Air Force which took them to Greenwood, Alberta, British Columbia, Halifax and then retiring in Springhill. Sheila enjoyed painting, line dancing, music, old movies, antiquing with friends and loved spending time at home with Peter. Sheila was predeceased by her parents and her daughter, Debbie. She is survived by her husband, Peter, daughter Linda, sister Lois. and several nieces and nephews. Peter would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff for the kindness and care they showed Sheila during her illness. Cremation has taken place.
