SHARPE, EUGENE - Eugene Milton Sharpe, 96, of Riceville, NB passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at The Carleton Manor Nursing Home Woodstock, NB. Eugene was born in Maple Ridge on July 9, 1914, son of the late Edward and Mable (Mitchell) Sharpe. Eugene is survived by a daughter, Linda Bell (Charles), Skiff Lake, NB, sons; Glenn, Riceville, NB, Myles (Nicole), Riceville, NB, Charles (Jean), Riceville, NB, 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Eugene was predeceased by his wife, Jessie, daughter, Joyce Wright, son in law Rosco, granddaughter, Lisa Sharpe, great grandson, Craig, brothers, Arnold, Earl, Harold, Irvine, sisters, Willa Rayner, Myrtle Elliotte, Mildred MacLean, Madeline Kirkpatrick, Ester Culligan and Evelyn Tadlock.
Visitation was held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Sunday, May 29 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 30 at The Upper Meductic Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Upper Meductic Cemetery.
