The death occurred peacefully at his late residence on Wednesday, December 19th, 2018 of Claude Ernest Gaudet of Summerside P.E.I., aged 81 years. Claude was born in Summerside to the late Ernest and Lydia (nee Bernard) Gaudet. Beloved husband of Florina “Flo” (nee DesRoches) Gaudet and loving father of Claudette (Wayne) Getson of O’Leary, Karen (Kevin) Morrell of Miscouche, and Donna (Ron) Dehmel of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Courtney, Bryanna, Ben, Matthew, Morgan, Mariah, and Emmanuel and several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in-law. Survived by his brother Allan (Dorothy) Gaudet. Predeceased by his son Ernest Gaudet, sisters Audrey (Robert) McFall and Lorraine (Archie) MacDougall and step-grandson Lucas Getson. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, December 22nd, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Claude’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
