Passed away after a short battle with cancer on Sunday, December 23, 2018, Lynda Meades, aged 68. Predeceased by parents Molly (Corbett) Sharpe and Gideon Sharpe; and brother Basil Sharpe. Leaving to mourn her husband and best friend of 43 years, Dan Meades; daughter Cathy (Craig); son Dan (Megan); precious granddaughter Charlie; sisters: Sheila Pendergast (Doug), Barbara Kelly (Jim), Bunnie Fewer (Dave) and Marlene Holden (Ron); brother Don; sisters-in-law: Gail Kirby (Bill, deceased), Diane McGrath (Joseph, deceased); as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Thursday, December 27 from 7-9 pm and on Friday, December 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 29 at 11 am at Barrett’s Funeral Chapel, Mt. Pearl. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Gathering Place would be appreciated.
