Clayton Alexander Organ

Clayton Alexander Organ

Lieu de naissance : Neils Harbour, Nouvelle Ecosse
Date de naissance : 21 décembre 1987

Date de décès : 24 décembre 2018

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our husband, father, son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend, Clayton Alexander Organ, age 31, on Christmas Eve.
Born in Neil’s Harbour on December 21, 1987 to Jackie (Ingraham) and Greg Organ, Clayton was their third child and the baby of the family, loved and spoiled by all who knew him. He was the light of their lives.
Clayton loved his family, especially his special girls, wife, Jenna (MacKinnon) and daughter, Kylie Michelle. Jenna and Clayton were together for 11 happy years and they loved each other deeply. Daughter Kylie was his pride and joy. He talked about her constantly, and they could often be found dancing in the kitchen. They were his world.
He was the jokester of his tight-knit extended family, always ready to make people smile with a joke, some teasing, a funny voice or a flash of his crooked grin. He had many close friends and seemed to make more wherever he went.
Clayton loved sports and played basketball all through high school, being coached by his mother. Alongside lifelong friend Grant Hatcher and Dylan Doucette, he helped the Cabot Trailblazers bring home many Regional banners and championships.
Clayton was a member of the Neil’s Harbour/New Haven Volunteer Fire Department, and an active member of his community. He spent many years fishing with his parents, working different jobs including construction, and going to school, before finding a career as a Linesman with NS Power. He loved his job and along with his close friend and co-worker Jeff Gillis, worked hard to keep the lights on North of Smokey. He was proud to be one of the boys from the North.
Clayton was extremely hard working, a work ethic no doubt learned from his father. He was transforming the house and land he and Jenna bought for their growing family and was very proud of the recent work he did on his basement. He wanted to have it finished by Christmas for his little girl.
Clayton will be missed by all who knew and loved him, most of all by his wife, Jenna and daughter, Kylie; mother, Jackie and father, Greg; older brother, John Mitchell (Denise); sister, Lacey (Rob Sutherland); grandmothers, Nanny Barb and Nanny Organ; niece, Meghan; nephews, Jack and Bradley; in-laws, Dick and Moira MacKinnon; brothers-in-law, Chad and Richard; Nanny Floss; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by grandfathers, Hickman Organ and Ewart Ingraham. We will never be the same.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018, at 2 p.m. in St. Andrews Church, Neil’s Harbour, with Rev. Brenda Drake officiating. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to his family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com.
