We, the family of the late Gavinna MacKenzie, extend our heartfelt thanks for the kindness and support shown to us during our recent loss. To all who attended the visitation, the funeral service and reception, sent cards, flowers, phoned, made Memorial donations, brought food and visited our homes, a sincere Thank You. Thank you to Rev. Peter MacDonald for his visits and the sincere and personal funeral service. To organist Steven MacNeil and the St. James Church choir for sharing their musical gifts, to the pallbearers- grandsons, Kyle Jardine, Scott MacKenzie, Russell Strickland, Spencer Strickland, Christopher MacLean, and grandson-in-law, Kevin Forrest, Thank You. A special thank you to St. James Ways & Means Committee for organizing and hosting the reception following the service. Special thanks to niece, Linda Collingwood for her visits with Mom. We would also extend our thanks to Dr. Peter Poulos for his care over the years, and to Marlene MacIntosh for her many years of care and compassion, which allowed Mom to be able to stay at home as long as she did. Thank you to the staff of all departments at Alderwood Rest Home who extended care and compassion to Mom and all the family. Thanks to the staff at WJ Dooley Funeral Home for their professional care and assistance at this difficult time.
To each and everyone who helped in any way, your kindness and support will always be remembered.
