Peacefully with her family by her side at the QE II Health Sciences Centre, Halifax N.S., on Thursday, January 24, 2019 of Margaret Teresa "Margie" Stanley of Charlottetown age 71 years. Beloved wife of Danny. Dear mother of Joshua (Jackie) and Erica (Richard) Kurial. Loving Nana of Fineas, Marianne, Owen and Olivia. Sister of Walter Mahar, Mary Rossiter (Robert), Josie Cross (deceased) and Betty Roach (Allen). Margie is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by her parents Eddie and Margaret Mahar, Souris West. Margie’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Unit 2 of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the IMCU at the QEII in Halifax, with special thanks to Will and Keith for the excellent care provided to her and her family.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Tuesday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Peter’s Bay, PE. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Members of the Charlottetown Hospital Nurses Alumnae will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Monday at 3:30 p.m. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
