It is with great sadness that we announce our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Theadore (Ted) Samuel Parsons, of Mississauga, Ontario (formerly of Westmount), passed on February 24, 2019.
Ted will be remembered as a man full of kindness, wit, humour, his love for his family and the Blue Jays.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Virginia (nee MacDonald); daughters, Valerie (Brian) Gillis, Cheryl (Peter) Farrugia, and Patricia (Craig) DesRoche; daughter-in-law, Angela Loro-Parsons; granddaughters, Angela, Krista and Meagan (Seattle, WA), Cassandra and Nicole (Mississauga, ON), Samantha (Mississauga, ON); grandson, Andrew (Windsor, ON); brothers, William (Laurie) Parsons and Donald (Joyce) Parsons.
Ted was born in North Sydney, on December 20, 1939 to William and Blanch Parsons. Ted lived with his family in Cape Breton until 1982 when he moved to Ontario. Ted worked at London Life Financial for 25 years before moving to Ontario to work for Mutual of Omaha, retiring from Shur-Gain.
Predeceased by his parents; brother, James, and beloved son and fishing buddy, Bernard.
Cremation has taken place, there will be a celebration of life and a Mass of Christian burial in New Waterford at a later date.
