The death occurred peacefully on February 24, 2019 at Prince County Hospital, Summerside of Wayne Greenan, age 75 years, after a long battle of heart disease. Wayne was the son of Vernon and Mildred (Caseley) Greenan of Newton. Wayne spent most of his adult life in Toronto, returning to PEI in 2016. Wayne is survived by his sisters Donna Shreenan (Frank), Pearl Murphy (Derrill), Beverley Howard (Errol), Janice Tiberio (John), Mary Gardiner, Kathy Desabrais (Randy); sister-in-law Darlene Greenan; brothers, Ron (Claire) and Ken (Brenda); several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his wife Dianne, his brother Harry and his friend Arlin Sahlmark. There will be no visiting by personal request. Funeral service and interment will take place at a later date. Donations in Wayne’s memory may be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation.
