George Hebert

Lieu de décès : Dartmouth, Canada

George Gaspard Hebert passed away March 6th at the age of 82 at Wellington Park Centre in Burlington, ON. Born in Joggins, September 25, 1936, he was the son of the late Amedee and Lena (Mills) Hebert. He is survived by his wife Audrey (Kline), Toronto; siblings: Yvonne Wilson, Little Dyke, NS, Tom, Joggins, NS, Joseph (Susan), Quispamsis, NB, Roger (Joan), Blind Bay, BC, Norman (Judy), Dartmouth, NS, Stanley (Mary), Beaverbank, NS; brother in-law Ray (Marguerite) Kline, Toronto, ON; sister-in-law Dulcie Kline, Toronto, ON; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was the oldest of the “Hebert boys” and was always interested in family matters. He was very generous and was always willing to help out. “Uncle George” will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, who loved him dearly. He had that presence of character and action that endeared him to his nieces and nephews - no subject was off limits and unsolicited opinions were always freely given. He and Audrey were married for twenty-nine years and lived their married life in the Toronto/Burlington area. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers in-law, William Wilson and Gordon Kline.
The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Wellington Park Centre for the kindness and care provided to George during his long stay with them. The Hebert family also wishes to express our sincere gratitude to George’s brother in-law, Ray, for his many acts of kindness and his many visits with George over the past years, and for being our liaison with the Centre. We would also like to thank niece, Carolyn Wynne, and nephew, Brian Hebert, for working with Ray over the years to get George’s affairs in order. Funeral and interment will be held in Burlington, ON at a later date.
